John Brunetti
Founder/Owner
For over four decades, the Brunetti family has been at the heart of crafting premium Italian bread and pizza dough, committed to using only the highest quality ingredients. Our story began in Clarksburg, WV, where John Brunetti, along with his wife Michele and their three children, envisioned a new chapter.. In 1981, they relocated to Huntington, WV, with the dream of opening an Italian restaurant.
However, the Brunetti family faced a challenge: finding high-quality Italian bread to complement their dishes. This challenge led John to start baking his own bread. The exceptional quality of their bread quickly attracted attention of other restaurant owners, and soon, others began seeking out their bread. Recognizing an opportunity, the Brunettis made a pivotal decision in 1983 to close their restaurant and dive into the bakery business.
The transition marked the beginning of a new era for the Brunetti family. Their dedication to excellence and passion for Italian culinary traditions fueled their growth. The bakery experienced three significant expansions over the years, culminating in a major relocation to its current location in Kenova, WV, in 1999.
